.....
but I am tired...
and I must sleep
some fractured unreality
I am haunted when I wake...
and wonder why it was more convincing than the day?
zzzzz

Hi dubble monkey,
I think you should sleep, even though you apparently have disturbing dreams. Lack of sleep can cause serious harm to yourself and possibly others. Do you have any self-soothing skills. If I was having those kinds of dreams I would find some sort of comfort with someone I trust, or some comforting music, or a favorite pillow or blanket. Think of how you would put a crying infant to sleep, and imagine that infant to be yourself. Soothe yourself somehow, and try to love yourself in some way.
You'll be in my prayers, A.

I used to take melatonin for sleeping and I used to call it "going to the movies". The stuff I would dream was from a dark place or so surreal that it would rattle me.
One morning I was flying to Boston and took a nap, still with the melatonin in me. I dreamt that the plane fell from the sky and it felt so real that I was haunted by the dream for at least a month.
This mind is both amazing and scary.
