My sleep pattern in a nutshell, sucks. I dont sleep well at night. I work in a place where I work 1 month of days and 1 month of nights. Our schedule is better now than it has ever been. I work 10 days straight and take 4 days off. My work production has gone down in many areas, yet still remains high in other areas. I want to work all nights, but my wife wants me home sometimes to help with our little girl. So I sacrifice my sleep to satisfy my spouse. I spend a lot of time with my little girl because she makes me laugh. Not too many people can do that. Anyway, when I work days I will usually fall asleep at around 4 am. I then get up at 6 am and get ready for work at 7 am. This pattern will last a few days and then I will fall asleep at a normal time, say 10 PM and wake up every two hours, walk around the house, read the news on the internet, watch a movie and fall back to sleep around 4 am just to get up at 6 to prepare for work at 7. I am tired all the time yet cant sleep. I cant take medication because my job requires call outs at all hours of the night and if I take a med and get called out I am an accident looking for a place to happen.
