Hi, RexCat. Thank you for sharing your dream. I looked at one of your other posts and think I might have a few ideas for you to consider.

She was quite drunk and couldn't see how fresh some of the cuts were (and he[/r eyesight is bad without her glasses anyway) and I lied through my teeth, telling her they were all old and healed up. I can't bring myself to tell her that I'm still struggling with it. I think it's mostly because it would upset her anyway and now even more so that I've been lying to her for so long. It's for her own good really but it's really getting to me that I can't tell her of all people.
I believe we are everyone in our dream, since it is our dream and our symbols. That you were kidnapped by a woman who repeatedly performed un-anaesthetized surgury on you, sounds a bit like your SI? You have kidnapped a part of yourself. That the woman is making you into a human peacock, what is the "function"/thinking about peacocks? "A peacock is a symbol of beauty and grace but also of arrogance and power." (From:

You have decided not to tell your friend about your problems with SIing because you have decided that is would not be good for her, that she would be upset and not able to handle it, in essence that you are in charge of her and know more about her and what she wants and needs than she does. Your third person point of view may know that taking this stance toward your friend is "arrogant", you are assuming a role of power/control over her, not telling her about your struggles.
Too, you are wishing, personally, to become a person of beauty and grace? :-) But you wish you did not have to kidnap yourself, not have to perform un-anaesthetized surgury on yourself to get there?
